Observational Astronomy and Stargazing

Stargazing For Beginners
Beginners may find astronomy intimidating because there is a vast universe out there. Basics of astronomy don't have to be difficult, though. You've come to the right place if you're looking for your first telescope, wanting to understand the constellations, or want to learn how to use star charts. The unaided eye is the ideal tool for beginning an exploration of the night sky.

This 13 part astronomy course is one of two I have created. This course focuses on observational astronomy and stargazing and covers topics such as buying a telescope and setting it up, how to use star charts, how to observe some astronomical targets, polar alignment and more.

My other course focuses on astronomy as a science where we will learn about various astronomical concepts such as magnitude scale, scale factor, calculating distances in space, how stars work and much more.

So with that said, lets get started stargazing!
